L>h’s intention from the very beginning has always been expressed in the second part of our mission statement, “inspiring Love over hate.” The essence of who we are and what we do, has always been Forgiveness.
Forgiveness, Love in action, is our Super Power.
Our driving operating principle is that violence tends to not happen in the presence of deep Love, rather it tends to happen in the absence of Love. Thus, our mission, inspiring Love over hate, is presencing Love and co-creating an environment of Love, everywhere, and at such a breakthrough level as to decrease violence.
Co means together. Co-create. Collaborate. Cooperate. It’s the notion that we “sense” together and we create “together”. It implies a group synergistic effect; that 1+1=3 when everyone is fully aligned, all in. It implies a certain “magic”, like when a sports team just has that palpable “something special”, togetherness, the team is bigger than the sum of its parts, that “feel” that they are going to win it all, and fans can sense it before it actually happens. It’s the idea that, at the very highest level of human responsibility, the willingness to experience ourselves as causative in the matter, we are all co-creating the collective environment in which this violence is happening, and that whether we have done anything wrong or not, we take collective ownership of it and work to intentionally create a higher environment, in which violence no longer happens.
Making LOVE greater than hate in this world is everyone’s project. Presencing Love like never before, so much so that violence declines and ends, is everyone’s hope and responsibility.
