Mary Lambrecht, a survivor of sexual violence, shared her powerful collection of poems—Pain, Recovery, and Starting to Heal—at our Talent Show. Her poetry reading was accompanied by an art slideshow and background music, capturing her personal journey of healing. As a painter, Mary also uses art as a therapeutic outlet to release her trauma, bringing a deeply moving and creative dimension to her presentation.
